GL Optics carefully extract the most valuable part of your donor lens - The Glass. The glass in many cases is good enough for professional production, what makes these donor lenses unsuitable are their out of standards housings with short focus rotation, non uniform front diameters, and inferior internal mechanisms. In some cases, GL optics will add certain in house developed optical elements to correct for undesirable qualities such as chromatic aberrations, focus breathing and vignetting.
